Letter from Naomi

Dear Reader,

I hope you are having a lovely day. My name is Naomi de Tenorio, and I’m a recent Bachelor’s of Architecture Graduate from New Jersey Institute of Technology. I’m an avid explorer, architecture admirer, and sustainability advocate.

I grew up with a love of travel, which gave me the opportunity to experience different places and observe, firsthand, how culture and history play a significant role in shaping the architecture we see today. Hence, after high school, I began dedicating my career to practicing architecture and learning how design can give back to its community.

Over the course of my undergraduate degree, my dreams and intentions of professionally exploring architecture have also been inspired by the desire to produce sustainable designs. I truly believe that architects and architectural designers have the influence to provide environmentally harmonious buildings that can support people, nature, and function.

I hope my designs can reflect community-driven design choices and sustainable principles that can inspire you to envision the potential architectural design can offer for people and the environment.
